I remember the first time I saw him, in "The Mechanic" (the original with Jan-Michael Vincent.)Quiggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12434473473185065992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722895377719228596.post-1297929907346057002016-06-07T12:36:31.331-05:002016-06-07T12:36:31.331-05:00Great film, you have made me want to see it again ...Great film, you have made me want to see it again soon. Jim Brown was indeed as good an actor as he was an athlete, one of the few to have equally impressive careers in both fields. Big Cassavetes fan here too, I only wish he had acted in a few more films other than the ones he directed. And great to see lee Marvin and Charles Bronson again--they also appeared together in very small roles as seamen in The Caine Mutiny, which I recently watched again.
Dirty Dozen is a real classic, thanks for highlighting it!
-Chrisangelman66https://www.blogger.com/profile/16471674180789592940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722895377719228596.post-65714561180210076052016-06-06T19:16:42.569-05:002016-06-06T19:16:42.569-05:00You must not be a football widow, if you don't...You must not be a football widow, if you don't know about touchdowns. There are two types. One can be done with a completed pass from the quarterback to a receiver and the other is to give the ball to a runner who takes it in by hand. The latter is a rushing touchdown. Didn't know I was going to be a sports writer, too... :-DQuiggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12434473473185065992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722895377719228596.post-35361524684234172302016-06-06T13:34:38.003-05:002016-06-06T13:34:38.003-05:00It's been way too long since I've seen The...It's been way too long since I've seen The Dirty Dozen. Every time I watch it I think, This is not my kind of movie, but I absolutely love it.

As for Jim Brown, I knew he was a football player, but I had no idea how distinguished a career he'd had. II have no idea what a rushing touchdown is, but his doing 100+ of them is certainly impressive.Silver Screeningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04955048716754142299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722895377719228596.post-10855687986048709922016-06-05T18:17:25.096-05:002016-06-05T18:17:25.096-05:00If that's the case, why have you only seen &qu...If that's the case, why have you only seen "bits and pieces"...?
